North Korea’s famine is so grave that its people are turning to cannibalism, according to reports.
An Asian news agency claims it has a network of “citizen journalists” inside North Korea who are reporting that a “hidden” famine in the farming provinces of North and South Hwanghae has killed 10,000 people.
Conditions are allegedly so grim that people are consuming human flesh.
One informant reports that “a man who killed his own two children and tried to eat them was executed by a firing squad.” Another describes a man arrested for “digging up the grave of his grandchild and eating the remains.”
