A number of veterans complained to major airpline carrier on behalf of Lance Cpl. Christian Brown, a double-amputee Marine who was “humiliated” on a recent flight.
According to the witness’s, Brown was “paraded” through the plane in a wheelchair and repeatedly bumped into seat after seat by the flight attendant pushing him.
After being put on display, Brown reportedly had tears streaming down his face.
Two veterans offered to give him their first class seats, but their generosity was denied by the crew.
“This story in no way reflects … the very high regard we hold for our nation’s service members,” the airline carrier said in a statement. “We are sorry and are investigating this event.”
